Banyan Software today announced the appointment of Mike Kazmier as Head of AI. His arrival underscores Banyan’s deep commitment to using artificial intelligence as a core driver of growth, innovation, and customer value across its portfolio.
Mike brings more than 25 years of software engineering experience and over 15 years working in cloud-native environments. He previously founded and served as CTO of a digital media SaaS company that scaled to hundreds of millions of dollars in ARR, where he led a team of over 200 engineers building enterprise-grade web and cross-platform mobile applications on modern cloud architectures.
Most recently, Mike was a Distinguished Engineer and Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s Cloud Native Application development, including the Application Modernization and Build service line. In that role, he partnered with Fortune 500 technology leaders to deliver large-scale cloud and AI transformations, including the development of production-grade generative AI solutions deployed across multiple industries. He has a proven track record of applying AI to solve complex business challenges at scale.
Banyan has been investing heavily in AI as a force multiplier across its portfolio, supporting modernization, product innovation, and increased operational leverage. In this role, Mike will lead the development and deployment of shared AI capabilities across the portfolio. He will work closely with operating leaders and management teams to embed AI directly into products, workflows, and go-to-market strategies, with a focus on practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable results for Banyan’s businesses and their customers.
