Susie Hedrick has joined Banyan Software as Portfolio Leader where she’ll work directly with our businesses to help them grow and lead in their markets as AI reshapes the software landscape.
Susie’s relationship with Banyan goes back to 2019, when we acquired vCreative. She stepped in as CEO and led the company through its next chapter of growth inside Banyan.
She brings more than 25 years of operating experience in software, with deep roots in media, telecom, and communications technology. She has held senior roles across sales, business development, and product before moving into the COO and CEO seat. Most recently, she served as CEO of WideOrbit, an industry-leading media technology company, and later in portfolio leadership overseeing a group of vertical market software companies. She holds an NACD Board Governance Certificate and certifications in Cybersecurity and AI Strategy.
Susie has seen M&A from both sides of the table, as a CEO leading her company through acquisition and as a portfolio leader working with management teams post-close.
In her words:
Susie joins at a moment of real momentum. We’ve acquired more than 100 vertical market software businesses, earned a spot on the Inc.5000 list for five years running, and are Great Place to Work Certified across six global regions. Our Growth Ops team, an embedded operating layer of specialists in AI, talent, go-to-market, product, payments, and more, gives our companies an advantage that decentralized acquirers cannot match.
