We have been named to the Inc. 5000 for the sixth consecutive year, every year since we first became eligible in 2021. It is the most recognized ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in North America, and reaching it six years running places us in rare company. Only 242 businesses have ever done that.
Since our founding in 2016, we have set out to build the best permanent home for growing software companies. We have never sold an operating business, and we never will. Founders preserve their legacy. Employees and customers get a stable path forward. The businesses themselves get the resources, expertise, and long horizon to keep growing. With a stable owner and no pressure to sell, strong companies keep getting stronger, long after the deal closes.
The model matters even more now, with real questions about what AI means for software. What we see across our companies is encouraging. A large share of our growth comes from partnering with strong, ambitious businesses. The rest is organic, at double-digit revenue growth rates, and over the past year that has been powered in particular by our companies putting AI to work. As just one example, at ICONI, which builds program management software for nonprofits in the UK and Ireland, recently rebuilt its product around AI, with an early client expecting to save more than 60% of its team’s time.
As we grow, so does our commitment to impact. Through the Banyan Software Foundation, we have committed $100 million in stock to support mission-driven organizations like Digital Green and Merit America that use technology to build a greener and more equitable world. Our teams give their time to these partners too.
