Karl Noronha has joined Banyan Software as APAC Portfolio Leader. Based in Brisbane, he’ll partner with the CEOs of our software businesses across the region to help them grow and lead in their markets as AI reshapes the software landscape.
Karl brings more than two decades of operating, commercial, and portfolio experience across Asia Pacific. He built his foundation in global product and commercial roles at P&G and Amazon. He then moved into the CEO seat, including as CEO of aCommerce in Singapore and Malaysia, leading businesses through periods of transformation and growth across geographies. Most recently at B Capital, he worked closely with high-growth companies across Southeast Asia, supporting CEOs on go-to-market strategy, people and organization, and capital formation.
In his role, Karl will partner with our APAC CEOs as a sounding board and connector, helping them set strategy, build their teams, and tap the full depth of Banyan’s growth operating support.
In his words:
Karl’s appointment reflects our continued investment in APAC. Building local leadership is how we give our companies the operating depth they need to grow. We have acquired more than 100 vertical market software businesses, earned a place on the Inc. 5000 for five years running, and are Great Place to Work Certified across six global regions. Our Growth Ops team, an embedded operating layer of specialists in AI, talent, go-to-market, product, and payments, gives our companies an advantage that other acquirers cannot match, with substantive AI work underway across the portfolio.
