Banyan Software, a leading acquirer and operator of mission-critical enterprise software businesses, today announced the acquisition of Bitcentral’s Production and Playout business, which serves leading broadcasters across the U.S. and Mexico. The business will continue to operate as Bitcentral.
Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Bitcentral is a provider of newsroom production and playout software that powers the “camera-to-air” workflow for leading broadcast television groups, cable news networks, and media organizations.
