Message from the CEO

2024 has been a year of incredible growth and impact. For me personally, one of the highlights was the launch of the Banyan Software Foundation. From the beginning, we’ve aimed to build not just successful businesses but an enduring legacy of positive impact. With the Foundation’s work already underway, I’m excited about the role Banyan can play in leveraging technology to create a greener and more equitable future.

As we’ve added more businesses to our family, we’ve gained new perspectives and expertise that make our collaboration even stronger. Our Guilds have been a cornerstone of this, covering topics like harnessing AI to drive growth, creating effective sales processes, and how to strategically react to customer feedback.

Generative AI, in particular, has been a major focus. Already, 25% of our companies have launched genAI-powered features, and 100% are exploring ways to enhance internal operations with these tools. Being part of a larger community means we can experiment, learn, and share insights—something I know will be a tremendous advantage as the technology landscape continues to change rapidly.

Together, we are building something truly special—a permanent home for great software businesses, grounded in purpose and enduring impact. I am incredibly grateful to all of our global employees, the sellers who have entrusted their businesses to us, and our customers who rely on us everyday to make their lives easier.

Offers integrated point-of-sale (POS) and loyalty solutions, delivering e-commerce capabilities and business intelligence to the retail industry.

Automated Systems (ASI)

Provides business software solutions for managing back-office operations, including sourcing, sales, and accounting.

SmartDocuments

Specializes in automated document creation and template management, supporting the automation of over 200 million documents per year.

DualEnroll

Streamlines, automates, and administers every facet of dual and concurrent enrollment management for over 100 colleges across the USA.

Our Commitment to Enduring Impact

This year, we took a big step toward making an impact on the broader world with the launch of the Banyan Software Foundation. Backed by a $100M commitment of company stock, the Foundation supports organizations leveraging technology for a greener and more equitable future. In addition, we introduced two new programs, accessible to all of our employees: a Learning & Development Fund to support continued career growth and an Employee Relief Fund to help during unexpected times of hardship.
